Hi, I'm Cydaria!
THE THERAPIST
I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker(LCSW) who is very passionate about
what I do daily. I am a mother of 3, and a wife of almost 20 years. I love dancing,
exercising, reading, writing, traveling, and watching movies/spending time with my
family. I love nature and warm weather. I love sweet smells, the blue sky, the color
purple (the movie and the color), and believe that a lot of great movies came
out the year of 1985! My kids are something else, and so are or two fur
babies (dogs), Simba and Mochi. My goal is to help break down the mental
health stigma in this country, and the world. I found the mental health profession
after being in a different profession for many years. I did not give up on finding what
I’m passionate for. Never stop fighting for your happiness. I LOVE the raw human
being, and when we are our authentic selves. There is so much growth and evolution
in being true to yourself, and realizing that being a student OF this life, FOR life, is
how you truly live life, to it’s fullest. Have the conversation… with you, or with me; but
have it. Talking can be so cathartic in itself, and jewels can come, just from
your thoughts flowing out of your mouth. You do have the answers. I am only hear
to help you find them.
My Style
I’m told that I’m “relatable”. I don’t hide “me” from you. My goal is to be transparent with
you, while supporting you in your journey. I’ve lived a lot of life, and have a lot of
understanding of a variety of experiences. I’m very open, laid back, I like a relaxed energy,
and I love the ability to laugh at ourselves. Comedy has definitely helped me to be far
more relaxed in order to enjoy this life. If we need to talk about it, time and time again,
we are going to talk about it. I can get clinical, but I tell you the reason why, and educate you
along the way. I’m waiting on you to reach out…

Experience and Education
I graduated from Indiana University Kelley School of Business, Bloomington, in 2002,
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Business Administration. In 2006, I
graduated with my MBA, and worked in corporate America for 11 years. I went back to
school to get my Master’s degree in Social Work from Indiana University, and graduated
in 2015. I have been providing therapy for just about 10 years now. My experience in
communication, relationship building, having empathy, and the thirst for ways to help
others, has led me to where I am today.
